A PROVEN FORMULA FOR SUCCESS FROM A MOVER AND SHAKER Sometime ago I spent a few days at Robert Redford's awesome SUNDANCE resort in Utah and while there I had the opportunity to interview a young man who had, at that time, generated over $600,000.00 in income. I thought it would be a great opportunity to ask him to share some of his proven secrets of success. He graciously accepted. In this article I will share three of his power principles of success. For your benefit, in a follow up article I will share four other of his proven success creating formulas and where they have advanced him to NOW! Here are three of those he shared. ALWAYS BE TAKING CONSISTENT, CLEARLY DEFINED ACTIONS WHICH MOVE YOU TOWARD WHERE YOU WANT TO GO! A dream without consistent, focused action is only a fantasy which will never be fulfilled. Everyone has grand visions and dreams for their life - but the vast majority never achieve them because they do not take consistent and passionate action. If you really believe in your dream and your potential to achieve it, you will have a clear vision of where you want to go with your life, what you want to achieve, and you will take actions which will move you toward the fulfillment of that dream. For instance - if your goal is to be a $500,000.00 producer like the man I was interviewing - you have to be constantly asking yourself the question: "What Would A $500,000.00 producer do now?" Then just do it! Today's actions determine tomorrow's outcomes! SEARCH OUT AND INTERACT WITH HIGH POWERED PEOPLE! It is a well worn phrase in our folklore, but it conveys an absolute truth - "Birds Of A Feather Flock Together". Winners associate with winners, not losers. Winners want to help losers, but if losers want to become winners, they have to leave the crowd they are in and begin to associate and interact with high powered people - listen to them - learn from them - begin to think like them and act like them. If you are going to "MOVE UP", you have to "STEP UP" to a higher level of thought, expertise and action! Interacting with Hight Powered People is a great PLUS in the process! ALWAYS TREAT EVERY PERSON YOU MEET WITH RESPECT AND ACT AS IF THEY ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD! This is very important principle to this great young man I was interviewing and he practices it faithfully. He believes in the GOLDEN RULE, "treat, do unto others as you would that they do unto you!" He believes that what you give to people, they will give back to you WITH INTEREST! It's worked fantastically for him and it will work for you!
