There are 2 million bankruptcies each year as a consequence of unpayable medication and medical costs. And the startling revelation is that ¾ of those had medical insurance, were middle class and 50% had a college education. Every 45 seconds, an American family goes bankrupt as a consequence of medical costs.

Latest statistics reveal that over 46 million in our society have NO healthcare insurance at all which is an all time high. Health care costs have increased 18% in 2006 and are projected to increase 7.2% a year for the next decade.
